Sustainability at Atlas Pro

At Atlas Pro, strength isn't just about fitness—it's about values.

We founded Atlas Pro to create high-performance fitness gear with a personal touch, but also with a deep respect for the world we live in.

Sustainability isn’t an afterthought—it’s built into every product we design and every decision we make. From the materials we choose to the way we manufacture and ship our products, we’re committed to doing things better—for you, and for the planet.

Strong for You. Gentle on the Planet.

Every* piece of Atlas Pro gear is 3D printed using recycled PLA.

Polylactic Acid is a bio-based polyester, commonly made from materials such as corn starch, sugar cane, and sugar beet—a material that’s not only strong and versatile but also far more environmentally friendly than traditional plastics.

Recycled PLA is biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable—but don’t let that fool you. Just because it’s kind to the environment doesn’t mean it’s weak or fragile. In fact, our recycled PLA offers impressive strength, durability, and resistance, perfectly suited for the demands of serious athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

We’ve put it through the test ourselves—through intense lifts, repeated use, and real-world conditions—and it holds up beautifully. The finish is clean and matte, the performance is solid, and the longevity is exactly what you’d expect from a premium fitness product.

A Circular Mindset

By using recycled PLA, we’re helping close the loop—taking what already exists and giving it a new life. Instead of relying on new raw materials, we’re turning existing waste into something useful, something purposeful, and something that helps you perform at your best. It’s part of our commitment to creating a more circular, less wasteful future.

What Does “Compostable” Really Mean?

It’s easy to misunderstand terms like "biodegradable" or "compostable." So let’s be clear: our PLA is compostable in industrial composting facilities—not in your backyard bin. That means, under the right conditions, it breaks down in a controlled environment without leaving toxic residues behind. This is a huge step forward compared to petroleum-based plastics that stick around for centuries.

Sourcing Smarter: Supporting Europe

Sustainability also means thinking about the bigger picture. That’s why we make a conscious effort to source our materials and work with brands within Europe whenever possible. This allows us to:

   • Reduce carbon emissions associated with long-distance shipping

   • Support local economies and small-scale suppliers

   • Ensure higher standards for labor, material quality, and environmental responsibility

By keeping things closer to home, we’re able to make a smaller footprint and a bigger difference.

Made to Order. Made with Intention.

Unlike mass-produced gear, Atlas Pro products are made on demand. Every collar, every accessory, is printed specifically for the person who orders it. That means:

   • No overproduction

   • No warehouses full of unused stock

   • No unnecessary waste

And when it comes to packaging? We keep it simple, minimal, and recyclable whenever possible. You won’t find excessive plastic or flashy wrapping—just what’s needed to keep your gear safe and protected during its journey to your home gym.

Our Philosophy

We know that a barbell collar or a keychain won’t single-handedly solve the climate crisis (we're not that naive). But we believe that small actions—made consistently and with care—can lead to meaningful change.

We’re here to build products that last, products that reflect your values, and products that don’t compromise between performance and purpose.

So when you choose Atlas Pro, you're not just choosing quality gear—you’re choosing to lift consciously, to move with intention, and to be part of something a little bigger.

Thank you for lifting with us—and for lifting with purpose.
